1. What Roleward is

Roleward is an AI career workbench designed to help users discover job opportunities, evaluate fit, prepare application materials, and organize application progress.

Roleward provides tools and decision support. It is not an employer, recruitment agency, immigration adviser, legal adviser, or guarantee of employment.

2. Your account

Roleward currently uses Google sign-in.

You are responsible for maintaining control of the Google account you use to access Roleward and for activity performed through your authenticated Roleward account.

You must provide accurate information where accuracy is relevant to a Roleward feature and must not impersonate another person.

Roleward is intended for users aged 18 or older.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the CVs, career information, job information, notes, preferences, edits, and other content you provide to Roleward.

You give Roleward a limited permission to host, store, copy, process, transform, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate the features you use, maintain the service, and fulfill the purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload or provide content to Roleward.

Do not upload confidential, proprietary, or personal information belonging to another person or organization unless you are authorized to use it for this purpose.

4. AI-generated analysis and materials

Roleward uses AI and deterministic software to analyze information and generate content.

AI output can be incomplete, outdated, inconsistent, or incorrect. A Fit Report, Search relevance assessment, company or role research, application angle, tailored resume, cover letter, connection note, or other generated output is not a factual guarantee.

You are responsible for reviewing generated output before relying on, submitting, publishing, or sending it.

Roleward aims to ground outputs in available career evidence and job context, but it cannot guarantee that every statement is complete or correct.

You should independently verify information that could materially affect an application decision, including employment requirements, compensation, work authorization, sponsorship, relocation, company information, or other eligibility constraints.

5. Job information and third-party sources

Roleward may discover, retrieve, summarize, analyze, or link to job postings and information from third-party websites.

Third-party content may be inaccurate, incomplete, changed, expired, or removed. Roleward does not control third-party job sites and does not guarantee the continued availability or accuracy of their content.

Links to LinkedIn, employer sites, applicant-tracking systems, company websites, or other services do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Your use of third-party services remains subject to their own terms and policies.

6. Applications and external actions

Roleward may help you prepare for an application, but consequential external actions remain yours.

Roleward does not currently:

• automatically submit job applications on your behalf; or
• automatically send LinkedIn messages or other external outreach on your behalf.

You decide whether, when, and where to apply or send material.

You are responsible for the final content of any application, resume, cover letter, message, or other material you submit externally.

7. No outcome guarantee

Roleward does not guarantee:

• that a job posting is available or genuine;
• that a role is suitable for you;
• that a Fit Report predicts employer behavior;
• that generated materials will pass an ATS or other screening process;
• that you will receive a response, interview, offer, visa, sponsorship, or employment; or
• any particular career or financial outcome.

Fit estimates and recommendations are decision-support judgments, not probabilities of hiring success.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use Roleward to:

• violate applicable law or another person's rights;
• upload material you do not have the right to use;
• distribute malware or intentionally harmful content;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data;
• probe, bypass, or interfere with authentication, security, rate limits, usage controls, or AI cost controls;
• misuse Roleward to deceive employers or knowingly make false claims about your experience or qualifications;
• operate the service in a way that materially disrupts it for others; or
• use third-party content obtained through Roleward in violation of applicable third-party rights or restrictions.

Roleward may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, protect users, secure the service, or comply with applicable obligations.

9. Roleward intellectual property

Roleward's software, product design, branding, original interface, and other materials created for the service remain the property of their respective owner.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Roleward itself to you.

Your ownership of your own content is not affected by this section.

10. Service availability and changes

Roleward is an evolving product.

Features may be added, changed, limited, suspended, or removed. AI providers, search providers, infrastructure, models, limits, or workflows may also change over time.

Roleward may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, technical failures, usage limits, security events, or other operational reasons.

We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.

Where a material product change also changes how personal information is handled, the Privacy Policy must be updated accordingly.

11. Ending use of Roleward

You may stop using Roleward at any time.

You may request deletion of account data using the contact method provided in the Privacy Policy where a self-service deletion control is not available.

Roleward may suspend or terminate access if reasonably necessary because of misuse, a security risk, legal requirements, or conduct that materially violates these Terms.

12. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roleward is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

Roleward makes no warranty that AI output, job information, research, generated materials, or other product results will always be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roleward is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from reliance on AI output, third-party job information, external application decisions, service interruption, or use of third-party services.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

14. Privacy

Roleward's handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is a disclosure about data practices, not a transfer of ownership of your information.

15. Changes to these Terms

Roleward may update these Terms as the product changes.

Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Where appropriate, additional notice may be provided before materially different terms apply to continued use.
